Is this load bearing/important?

Context:

I'm putting some OSB down in my attic to provide a little more storage space.

I'm wondering if the angled 2x4 against the end wall is critical, or if it can be removed to make my life easier and open up some more space. The wall at the end is the very end of the house with nothing but open air on the other side.

I can take more pictures/answer questions if necessary.
