advice on proper adhesive - Plastic and glass (safe for electronics)

Hello,

As the title suggests, I'm looking to glue some glass to some plastic. Particularly, I would like a strong adhesive for putting together a laptop glass screen and digitizer. It is a similar process to a cell phone screen, but the spacing between the frame and the glass varies as you go around. I once tried 3M double-sided tape for smartphone digitizers, silicon, and other glues, but it's never a decent hold, mostly in the places of larger voids between plastic and glass. I would need something that I could clean up in case it bleeds onto the glass in the front. Last time I had leftover glue, I just sprayed with ammonia and scraped off the excess with a new blade; worked like a charm.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
