[HELP] What To Do With Stained Glass Panels In A Dresser

Hi,

So I've started getting into some DIY projects since my apartment came fully furnished (but with exceptionally old, not in great condition furniture). I have this dresser I'd like to sand, prime, and then paint, but it has some stained glass panels as you can see (at the top and in the bottom cupboard areas). Does anyone have any ideas as to what I can with them? I don't really like them, so I was thinking of painting them over with black paint, but since I'm new to this, figured I'd seek out some more experienced DIYers.
