My senior dog had a back injury, and I'm looking for a guide to make her a dog wheelchair- any hints?

As the title says, my senior schnauzer was 14 years old and in perfect health, until slipping on ice about a month ago. The vet thinks she must have really flared up some arthritis or possibly slipped a disk. She has been having weak back legs ever since, and I think its been getting her down- she can't make long walks, chase critters (or people). I've been carrying her down stairs to do her business, but it breaks my heart to see her just sit at the window all day. I would love to get her a doggie wheelchair, but think I could do a decent job making one instead of dropping 150-200$.

I've made some shop class projects in the past, and took a few engineering classes for fun. Basically, beginner level but not hopeless in the DIY department. My (senior) puppy is 14" ground to stomach, 45lbs- I think that shouldn't be too limiting in terms of size of plans if any are out there.

Any help with blueprints or online tutorials would be much appreciated.
